Dear Christian Reconcilers and Reconciliation Ministry team members,
I am writing to you because you are (or experienced a trial membership for) a Christian Reconciler™ or a Reconciliation Ministry team member. We have completed some significant improvements to our website, the reconciler directory and your ability to share information through your profile. The ministry of reconciliation has never had such a wholistic directory of reconcilers available to one another, not to mention the public! Our prayer is that this ushers in a new era of unprecedented collaboration and service. This directory is meant to highlight all reconcilers and not just those from AoR.
NOTE: With the addition of new search capabilities, I encourage all of you to login at Christian Reconciler Home Page or the Reconciliation Ministry Home Page and update your profile to ensure people can find you when they need you!
Here is a list of improvements/enhancements:
First, the Christian Reconciler Directory page is faster. Compared to its previous performance, it’s blindingly fast. In order to accomplish this we restructured the presentation of the page. Initial feedback on the appearance is very positive so the change turned out to be a win-win. Let me know what *you* think!
Your profile now includes a section entitled “Certificates Held” that include certificates/certifications/licenses from AoR, ICC Peace and RW360!
Christian Reconcilers with a professional membership are now able to see profiles of ALL Christian Reconcilers AND Reconciliation Ministry team members!
Language has been added to the search criteria, allowing clients to search for a reconciler based on language needs (let me know if you need a language added)
Specializations have been added to the search criteria, allowing clients to search based on the type of case they need help with. Let me know if you want to suggest any additional specializations. FOR MOST OF YOU IT WILL BE IMPORTANT TO UPDATE YOUR PROFILE SO YOU MAY BE FOUND THIS WAY!
Licensed AoR instructor is now searchable to highlight those who hold a license for teaching AoR seminarsFor those certified by RW360, it is now possible to search for reconcilers who are certified RW instructors as well as Certified Relational Conciliators
Pro bono service is now a criteria clients can search for
The Reconciler Forum is now locked-down to only Christian Reconcilers and Reconciliation Ministry team members. Some of you noticed that we were previously getting bizarro posts in the forum from strange places - mostly Pakistan - but that should discontinue. We deleted those as they appeared but it should no longer be an issue.
We’ve added explainer videos to the Reconciler Forum that demonstrate how to navigate our site and do some of the basics like get your profile set up, manage your feedback, etc. Check them out! But, you’ll need to login first!
Having feedback on profiles is still a new feature (although it’s been there since the beginning of the program) but as a teaser, as this feature gets more use, we will eventually be adding the ability to search for reconcilers with a certain number of feedback entries and/or a minimum feedback score - so it will be beneficial to be soliciting feedback!
Difference between Reconciliation Ministry team members and Christian Reconcilers
While all of you now appear in the Christian Reconciler Directory, there are differences in how your information is made available. The list initially appearing on the directory are all Christian Reconcilers (who have opted to make their profile public) plus the registered Reconciliation Ministries This is the group of profiles that are searchable at the top level.
If you then open the profile of a Reconciliation Ministry, you can see the list of team members that are part of that ministry. Those team members, unless they also have a Christian Reconciler membership are *only* displayed as members of that ministry. They will not be displayed in directory search results, even if they meet the search criteria. If a team member wishes to be found in Christian Reconciler Directory search results, then they will need to have a Christian Reconciler Membership. For example, if you’re a Reconciliation Ministry member and also a CCC or certified with RW360, then you won’t appear in search results unless you have a membership. Yes, we’re encouraging memberships because that’s how we fund the maintenance of this program. :-)
As always, we stand ready to assist you with any of this. Our goal is to serve you so well that membership renewal becomes a no-brainer for you.
We have created this program FOR YOU and pray it is a blessing to you as you serve the ministry of reconciliation. Please let me know how we may serve you as we continue to labor in this ministry together.
