Reconciliation Weekends

Marriage counseling is challenging for everyone. This is especially true for any full-time church worker of a congregation because of their many responsibilities and duties. This workshop will teach you a framework of providing 6-8 sessions of addressing issues with couples while serving a congregation.

Who’s the unforgivable in your life? Is there any hope for overcoming unforgiveness? Dr. Rockenbach shares how God’s forgiveness transforms our lives by addressing some of the 18 questions people often struggle with concerning unforgiveness.

In this workshop we will review some basic biblical principles of how we can respond to
persons who are struggling spiritually and emotionally due to circumstances that have caused
some form of crisis or difficult circumstances in their lives. In the same way that there are
basic steps we can follow when providing physical first aid, we will consider basic biblical
steps to follow in providing soul care first aid. These steps will be shared in a format that is widely applicable and easy to remember.

Walking Wounded are people who need healing and have not received it. Sometimes people resolve healing is not possible and just live with the pain. There is hope. Our Savior was wounded so we can be healed. This seminar describes a faith journey of healing from wounds of the past to a ministry of helping others who need healing.

Conflicts in churches can have underlying causes and effects including financial, emotional, and relational to name a few. How can church leaders and church staff build a systemic way to walk confidently through moments of reconciliation with more joy and purpose while reducing the pain of conflicts? How can they build relational systems of empathetic care and emotional intelligence? What does it look like to view and operate in such a Biblically based reality?
