Supervision in Christian Ministry

In our service at Ambassadors of Reconciliation, we're often called to serve as a result of issues between employer and employee. Sometimes, after personnel actions have been taken, the resulting fallout erupts into significant group conflict between those who agree with the actions and those who do not. When serving Christian ministries in these matters, we have found over and again the predominate approach used to respond to employment issues are derived from secular practices. While solid personnel policies and procedures are crucial, the very nature of Christian ministry requires biblical practices that ought to be included in our human resource policies but are too often overlooked.
