The church is meant to be a place where its members can seek help in applying God’s message of reconciliation to their marital conflicts. In this course you will learn to apply the basics of coaching and mediation when reconciling husbands and wives through confession and forgiveness.
We've been in Christian counseling for months but we've NEVER had a conversation like this before!
A husband after learning the practice of confession and proclaiming God's forgiveness - who then shifted the conversation from separation of assets to improving his marriage!
Who Should Attend?
Teaching and admonishing others to reconcile and resolve conflicts biblically is difficult. Yet God calls us to do so with godly wisdom. If you find yourself addressing husbands and wives regarding marriage issues, then this course is for you!
This training is meant for anyone already providing biblical counsel to husbands and wives struggling with conflict. Specifically targeted are Pastors, Elders and Reconcilers. If you are sought out by others to help in their marriage relationship, perhaps this course is for you!
Benefits
In the Reconciling Husbands and Wives Practicum, you will learn how to assist husbands and wives in conflict. Since helping husbands and wives involves meeting both one-on-one as well as together, you'll learn to apply the fundamental elements of both conflict coaching as well as mediation. You’ll study key Scripture passages and acquire new tools for remembering the basic principles and applying them in everyday conflicts.
