"Above or beyond reproach" means that the man is not subject to disapproval, not because he is perfect or sinless, but because he lives by God's grace in Christ and is forgiven by God. In fact, all Christians are forgiven and cleansed by God in Baptism, Absolution, the Lord's Supper, so that for the sake of Christ we have God's approval.

Acts 6:2-4 Pastor: Acts 6:2-4 Pastor: Given the preaching office. Guiding, advising the congregation as to how to resolve a problem according to the Word of God. Devoted to "prayer and the ministry of the Word," i.e., the pastoral office. Lay Leader: Given the office of "deacon," i.e., "one who serves" "Men (so, not women) of good repute." "full of the Spirit and of wisdom" "appoint[ed] to this duty [of distributing food to widows]," so the pastor can do his assigned work.
1 Timothy 3:1-7 Pastor: 1 Timothy 3:1-7 Pastor ("overseer," i.e., "bishop"): "above reproach" "husband of one wife" (so, not a woman, not divorced) "sober-minded" or "clear-headed" "Self-controlled," i.e., disciplined "respectable" "hospitable" "able to teach" "not a drunkard" "not violent, but gentle" "not quarrelsome" "not a lover of money" "manages his own household well, with all dignity" "not a recent convert" "well thought of by outsiders" Lay Leader: N/A, but see vv. 8-13
1 Timothy 3:8:13 Lay Leader: 1 Timothy 3:8-13 Pastor: N/A Lay Leader: "Deacon" (what we call "elder") is "one who serves, so a willingness to serve the congregation. "dignified" "not double-tongued," i.e., integrity of speech, also includes not gossiping. "not addicted to much wine" "not greedy for dishonest gain" "must hold the mystery of the faith (i.e., the revealed doctrine of God's Word) with a clear conscience" "let them be tested first; then let them serve... if they prove themselves blameless" There is also an explicit mention of deacons wives as well, which means these men have a responsibility as head of household for the attitudes and behavior of their wives. "the husband of one wife," so men, not divorced. "managing their children and their own households well"

I would included in addition to the closing prayer, the prayer requests of the congregation members that were collected on Sundays or brought to the elders by the members they serve (excluding any that were asked to be kept confidential).

It is pretty similar.

Spiritual leaders need to be diligently in God's Word and in prayer, confessing and forgiving sins, and looking to the needs of those they are serving.

Joshua 1:8 To be diligent in daily reading and study of God's Word and applying it first to myself in my own life.
Acts 2:42 Be devoted to the teachings of God's Word, to unity of confession and faith in the body of Christ and peace with the fellow members of His body, the frequent use of the Lord's Supper for the strengthening of faith and the forgiveness of sins, and to a healthy prayer life that acknowledges God is in control and to bring everything thing to Him in prayer trusting that He hears them and will answer them in the way that is best according to His will.
Colossians 3:16 Having God's word dwell in us richly, reading it, remembering it, living it, strengthening and encouraging each other with it, and praising God with it.

When I don't do a better job recognizing the needs of the members I'm serving, the days I forget to plan time to call on members I'm serving, the times I focused more on someone's attendance instead of thinking of ways I could show I cared and build a better relationship, forgetting to ask members when is the best time and the best method of contacting them, not always recognizing the opportunities God places before me to share God's love with them, not always remembering to bring my frustrations- challenges-desires-and thanks to God in prayer, not always remembering to pray before calling someone or before going into a meeting

To persevere in both their life and their teaching. They are both important and intertwined. The most important though will always be the teaching since Jesus says in Matthew 23:1-3 for the crowds and His disciples to be careful to do everything the teachers of the law and the Pharisees tell them, but not to do what they do, since they don't practice what they preach. That's why if Timothy keeps watch on his own life and his teaching he will save both himself and his hearers. But if Timothy only keeps watch on his teaching risks only saving the hearers who put it into practice themselves. If we do not keep a close watch on what is being taught then we won't be able to keep an accurate watch on our lives either. Hopefully though when you keep watch on your teaching you will also keep watch on your life to test if you are putting it into practice, producing fruit, or being like the wise builder in Matthew 7:24-27 in contrast to the foolish builder.

In speech: leading Bible studies, confessing sins to God and others we have wronged, forgiving others who sinned against us, not gossiping about or condemning others, but speaking well about them and protecting their reputations. In conduct: not being a drunkard, or lazy, not being violent, humbly serving others in need. Love: Praying for people who curse or attack you, showing kindness to those who have done nothing nice to you. Sharing God's Word with those who don't know Jesus. Bearing burdens with others and applying discipline and consequence when necessary to deter someone from falling further into temptation and to deter others from following the bad example. Faith: praying to God in all circumstances and patiently waiting and trusting in Him no matter what happens. Praising God in all circumstances. Not grumbling or complaining when things don't go our way or when tragedy happens, remembering that our God is a loving and merciful God who is also concerned when tragedy happens (Exodus 3:7-10).

Someone "above reproach" is a person who lives a Baptismal life of daily repentance, sorry for their sins and resisting/fleeing/turning from them. They confess their sins to God and trust in His forgiveness. They also do not try to minimize their sins. Trusting in God's forgiveness they also are motived to forgive those who have sinned against them through proclaiming the Gospel message of God's forgiveness for them for Christ's sake.

Acts 6:2-4 Lay Leader: Must have good reputations. Having a thorough knowledge of God's Word and full of faith that comes from the Spirit through the Gospel in God's Word and Sacraments.
1 Timothy 3:1-7 Pastor: Above reproach, husband to one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent, gentle, not always fighting, not greedy, manages own household well, raising children who are humble and submissive, can't be someone who was recently converted or they might become prideful and fall into condemnation, and should also even have a good reputation with unbelievers.
1 Timothy 3:8:13 Lay Leader: Dignified, not just saying whatever people want to hear but the truth, not addicted to alcohol or drinking excessively, not greedy and attaining things through dishonest means, must trust in God's forgiveness, and be tested first. The husband of one wife, managing their children and own households well (not hypocrites).
