My Personal Track - A track that you personalize yourself! As you browse all of the workshops, add those that interest you to your personal track. Then, when you return, you can easily find your personal workshop schedule!
International - For many of these workshops we partnered with ALARM-Africa to present these workshops. ALARM's workshops are presented by a local ALARM organization in different countries. ALARM works in the context of their country’s concerns and people to apply biblical principals of forgiveness, understanding and peace in the communities they live in. These workshops teach what ALARM and others have done in their particular context though the principles can be applied universally.
Advanced - These workshops aim to equip those who are already reconcilers in their churches or professional settings by addressing common issues that reconcilers face. Experienced presenters will bring their expertise and case studies to real-life situations that happen in conflict resolution.
Introduction - These workshops aim to address broader issues of conflict resolution, sin issues that contribute to conflict, introductory teaching on reconciliation and personal peacemaking, teaching reconciliation to the next generation and more. Whether you are new to being an ambassador of reconciliation or a seasoned veteran these workshops will help you to live out a lifestyle of reconciliation in your home, church, work and community.
Foundational - These workshops are geared toward reconcilers who have completed the foundational reconciler training (Coaching People to Reconcile and Mediating People through Conflict) to further equip them for their service as reconcilers.
Specialized - These workshops aim to address specialized issues in the area of reconciliation.

How the Brain Does Forgiveness, Part 1 of 2: The Unforgiveness Trap

So many believers are stuck in a pattern of emotional instability, strained relationships, and spiritual stagnation. Even though they invest in spiritual growth, God seems distant or unwilling to help. Many are completely unaware that unforgiveness is the root cause. Others try to forgive but can’t understand why the pain and anger still seem to control them. Unforgiveness is so toxic to our relationship with God and others. Our enemy is a master deceiver who tricks our minds into believing that holding onto unforgiveness is the most reasonable path forward. How does he distract and hide unforgiveness from us, keeping it buried beneath the surface? What is a Biblical definition of forgiveness? How does the deceiver keep us stuck in unforgiveness by convincing us to practice “false forgiveness?”
Join us in this first session to learn how our enemy keeps well-meaning believers trapped in unforgiveness and resentment.

We all agree that forgiveness is emotionally healthy, spiritually freeing, critical to reconciliation, and a Biblical command. How would you respond, though, if someone asked you, “How do I forgive?” Many believers say the words “I forgive,” yet wonder why the pain and resentment seem to stay with them. Others attempt to forgive repeatedly, hoping that—this time—forgiveness will “take” and the pain of past hurts will be lessened. Often those who practice forgiveness themselves do so intuitively and are hard-pressed to explain a forgiveness process that will help others.
In this second session, we will take a deep dive into how our brains process information. We will learn a step-by-step forgiveness process that works with God’s design for our brain. It is a process that can be applied to all situations, brings confidence that forgiveness has taken place, and paves the way to a reconciled relationship with God and others.
