International - For many of these workshops we partnered with ALARM-Africa to present these workshops. ALARM's workshops are presented by a local ALARM organization in different countries. ALARM works in the context of their country’s concerns and people to apply biblical principals of forgiveness, understanding and peace in the communities they live in. These workshops teach what ALARM and others have done in their particular context though the principles can be applied universally.
Advanced - These workshops aim to equip those who are already reconcilers in their churches or professional settings by addressing common issues that reconcilers face. Experienced presenters will bring their expertise and case studies to real-life situations that happen in conflict resolution.
Introduction - These workshops aim to address broader issues of conflict resolution, sin issues that contribute to conflict, introductory teaching on reconciliation and personal peacemaking, teaching reconciliation to the next generation and more. Whether you are new to being an ambassador of reconciliation or a seasoned veteran these workshops will help you to live out a lifestyle of reconciliation in your home, church, work and community.
Foundational - These workshops are geared toward reconcilers who have completed the foundational reconciler training (Coaching People to Reconcile and Mediating People through Conflict) to further equip them for their service as reconcilers.
Specialized - These workshops aim to address specialized issues in the area of reconciliation.

There are many different voices in our world today. Knowing which voices to give credence to is vital, especially when we find ourselves in conflict. We will discuss the characteristics of various voices and learn to discern their credibility. Further, we will consider a simple diagnostic tool to use personally and with those we serve.

Victims of abuse are faced with many challenges as they journey toward healing. Many services focus on the physical injuries and the emotional toll the victims endured. This workshop will focus on nurturing the soul, exploring ways to walk alongside trauma victims, and offering a healing balm to their wounded souls. How can we, as peacemakers, help victims see the truth about the Bible’s commands to forgive rather than further traumatize and injure the wounded? What does it mean to forgive the unforgivable? Why forgive? How to forgive?

As that conflicted couple walks through the door to meet with you, they may try to convince you they married the wrong person. They didn’t, but what they don’t realize they are in a spiritual battle for their souls. Because marriage is a divine creation, spiritual warfare is declared against it with willing combatants. As mediators, you’ll want to champion forgiveness and reconciliation so the couple wins the war against their foe – which is not each other!

Are you looking to expand your conciliation work? Have you been looking for opportunities to mediate in your local community? One of the areas where you can expand your work and ministry is in the local courts. This session will look at the calling to Christian conciliation and whether for you this includes working in the local courts. We will look at Scriptures that support working in the local courts. We will explore processes that can be used in mediating in the local courts. We will look at how to connect with the courts as a Christian conciliator, including a particular path explored by one conciliator/mediator-me. Tips will be offered, and resources identified. If you would like to know more about how to expand your conciliation work in the courts, then come to this session. I hope to see you there.
