Happy Lent and Easter season!
As you look to celebrate Resurrection Sunday where our Savior accomplished our salvation in His death, burial, and resurrection, we hope that your heart rejoices in this profound truth: He is risen. He is risen indeed! It is our privilege to live out and share this message as ambassadors of reconciliation each day. Every time that we share about reconciliation, we point back to Jesus (our Reconciler) who secured our complete forgiveness on the cross.
One of these God-given opportunities we are so excited about is gathering at our Regional Events – we mentioned these to you in our Fall Blog as we released the 2024 Training Calendar. We are excited to announce we have our dates and locations! We look forward to seeing many of you face-to-face at one of the three regional events, which have affectionately been named the “Regional Receptions.” It is our hope that these Receptions will provide long-awaited fellowship and time together for encouragement, growth in our skills as reconcilers, and a focused time acknowledging the grace of our God for us as His ambassadors.
These Receptions will include time for fellowship, structured as a more relaxed event that is cost-efficient, geared toward those within driving distance (but we won’t judge you if you fly). These Receptions will go from 12:45pm on Friday to 12:45pm on Saturday. We’ll spend time together sharing meals, hearing a keynote address, and attending workshops that aid our roles as peacemakers. The workshops will vary based on the local instructors, but all will be appropriate for every reconciler – whether you are completely new to this ministry or have decades of reconciliation experience under your belt. In fact, this is a great opportunity to invite someone new or bring your spouse (a discount for an accompanying spouse is being offered).
These Receptions will be limited to a max capacity, so you’ll want to buy your ticket to the nearest event as soon as possible. Your registration email will include a QR code for checking in to the event. There will also be an opportunity to interact with other attendees even before you show up on site!
